AUTOBIOGRAPHY

Past, Present and Future Me

My parents named Katrina. I am raised to be an obedient, God-fearing and polite child. I am raised in a loving and caring family who encourages me to try new things and to explore my limitations and boundaries. As I grew up, whenever I wanted to try something new, my parents would be supportive and encouraging. When I wanted to try painting, they bought me a full set of coloring materials. When I wanted to try playing the piano, my parents bought a keyboard. They enrolled me to good schools, so that, I could have a good education. They raised me to work hard in my studies and to the activities and hobbies I had decided to take up, to be grateful for all the blessings that God gave me and to my family.

Upon entering college and deciding which university to apply to, my mother has been my constant moral support, she would come along with me to show support while I’m taking my entrance exams in Manila. They did not force me to take any courses that I didn’t want to, they were supportive when I told them that I wanted to take Physical Therapy, which is for 5 years. I finished a whole year of that course and shifted to AB English, my parents were okay with the transferring, because they saw how much I was struggling with my transportation from Bulacan to Manila, and how early my classes are.

Now, I am happy with my course AB English, I’m in my third year now and my grades are great, which makes my parents both happy and proud. I am still trying to learn new things, like knitting and learning other languages like French. When I can finally graduate in college, I would find a job where I could learn, discover and explore new things, since I love to read. I would like to do something I am good at for my job, so I am considering a job in the Publishing Industry, either as a Commissioning Editor or as a Copy editor. This is how I am raised and this is how I wanted my life to be.
