Midterm is coming!
Be prepared my fellow students and
classmates, for midterm is coming here at NCBA. Ready your books, find your
notes and photocopies, and ready yourself for the upcoming sleepless nights. I am
sure that most of you students will use the word “Procrastinate”. What is procrastinating?
According to the Merriam Webster, Procrastinate is to be slow or late about
doing something that should be done, to delay doing something until a later
time because you do not want to do it, because you are lazy. Let us be honest,
my dear fellow students, we always procrastinate, even if it is not exams. We procrastinate
when deadline for projects is coming, assignments, reports and thesis. There is
nothing to be ashamed if we love to procrastinate. I am not judging you dear
readers, for I also, procrastinate.
To be honest dear readers, I do not
procrastinate because I do not intend to study or do my projects and thesis. For
me, we use procrastination to help our minds adjust to the pressure of studying
and researching. It is not good for our brains to be pressured so much, there
is a limit on how much our brains can take. There is a saying that “it is
better to be late than never”. So I think it is fine to study a day before the
exam, the limited time we have before the exams or deadline will give us the
motivation to finish our assigned tasks no matter what. But beware dear
students, not because I said that procrastination is fine, does not mean that
we have to use it every time. As students, we have the obligation and
responsibility to do our best in our studies and to graduate with flying
colors. Not just for ourselves, but for the people who pays for our studies. My fellow
students and classmates, let us do our best for the upcoming midterm exams. To
procrastinate or not is up to you, but be sure to pass your test and may the
odds be ever in your favor!
